Words from the Founder

Coronavirus disease 19, (or COVID-19) caused infected many, leading to a continuous outbreak and making its mark in human history as one of the deadliest epidemics. The first COVID-19 patient was identified in the city of Wuhan, China, at the end of 2019. The disease was subsequently detected in various locations in the world. Until April 17th, 2022, there are 504 million cases of infections, and almost 6.2 million deaths and the numbers are still climbing.

Seeing that the coronavirus has been ravaging the world for over two years causing an uncontrolled pandemic, I have decided to contribute over 50 years of my experiences accumulated in the textile and dyeing business to develop anti-bacterial and bacterial-resistant equipment and manufacturing process - Metz-Tex technology, and was able to obtain a patent for novel inventions in December 2021 from Taiwan.

For the development of Metz-Tex, we took a giant leap from the traditional dyeing and finishing industry to the application of nano-technology, while keeping the objective of the Rotary Club in mind: “to encourage and foster the ideal of service as the basis of a worthy enterprise”. We hope we can do our part to contribute to the efforts of epidemic prevention!

COVID-19 has been on the rampage worldwide for over two years since its outbreak without signs of control. The public will eventually be forced to consider ways to co-habit with the virus. Metz-Tex technology can be applied to almost all textile fabrics, providing peace of mind in a world where the virus is ever-present.
